The TNV8T404Q01-R1 variant comes with a pre-activated RTU license. This means its four 100G client ports are ready to operate at their full potential immediately upon installation. In contrast, the TNV8T404Q06 variant lacks a pre-activated RTU license. While the board itself is functionally identical, its 100G client ports won't operate at full capacity without the appropriate RTU license.
